Tattoo
From what age can I get a tattoo?
To get a tattoo with us, you must be at least 18 years old. A declaration of consent from parents for minors, we can unfortunately not accept.
How can I make an appointment for tattooing?
If you would like to make an appointment with us, please send us a non-binding request via our online form. Here you enter all the information we need from you. After that, you will receive a detailed e-mail from us, in which, for example, the expected price of your tattoo is written. The final appointment we then handle by phone, before the appointment after your paid deposit firmly belongs to you.
What information do you need so that I can make a tattoo appointment?
The more information we have, the better. So please be as detailed as possible in your description. Feel free to attach sample images or even sketches you’ve created yourself, so we get the best possible idea of your idea.
Can I come by the studio for a tattoo without an appointment?
We are glad that you seem to be so on fire that you want to come over directly. 🙂 But actually we have only very rarely spontaneous appointments in our studio free. In addition, we only process requests that reach us via our online form. Please fill out the form completely and we will get back to you as soon as possible. We will surely find a date that suits you.
How long do I have to wait for a tattoo appointment?
How soon an appointment can be given depends on your idea as well as on the artist. However, we try to offer you an appointment within the next 3 months. Of course, your flexibility also plays a role here. Please fill out our contact form as detailed as possible and we will get back to you with concrete information.
What do I need to consider before my tattoo appointment?
Please come to your tattoo appointment healthy and rested. Immediately before you should eat and drink well to support your circulation. Take a refreshment with you for in between – glucose and juice spritzers are good choices here, for example. If you notice that you are getting sick in the days before your appointment, please contact us immediately. If you show up sick at the studio on the day of your appointment, we will unfortunately have to send you home again and keep your deposit.
How much does a tattoo cost?
The absolute minimum rate of a tattoo with us is 120 €, which covers the basic time and material expenditure that we have for a complete appointment process. In addition, we can not give you without precise information about your tattoo idea prices – not even a rough direction. Each motif is individually designed for you and therefore unique. So there is no price table on which we can fall back. The price varies depending on the artist, motif, body part and also on the time we need for the overall process and motif development. So it’s best to fill out our online form as detailed as possible and send us a non-binding request. Then we will be happy to give you information about a price. We are looking forward to your idea!
Why do I have to pay a deposit?
The appointment deposit is the security for the tattoo artist and the studio. The time that the artist needs for your tattoo is firmly reserved for you and already before the appointment working time flows into your project. In the event of a spontaneous cancellation, a significant delay or if a customer simply does not show up, the reserved spot remains free and thus means a financial loss. So please only make an appointment if you are really sure!
Will I lose my deposit if I have to cancel or reschedule my appointment?
Whether and in what amount you get a refund of your deposit in case of cancellation or rescheduling of your appointment depends on the time. Please check our terms and conditions. If you show up sick for your appointment, we unfortunately have to send you home and keep your deposit. For our part, we reserve the right to postpone or cancel appointments at short notice without giving reasons.
I am unsure if I really want to have a tattoo. Can I get advice from you?
You are very welcome to consult us at any time. I want a tattoo, but I am unsure about the motif, location and / or artist. Can you advise me?
We are also happy to advise you on the subject of motif & artist choice or the appropriate body part. To get an impression of the styles of our artists, you are welcome to come to the studio and view our portfolios – or browse through our social media accounts such as Instagram or Facebook. Of course, you can also contact us and we will clarify your questions together.
How much does a tattoo consultation cost?
Consultations are free of charge. If you would like a consultation with a specific artist, please fill out our online form and describe your idea in as much detail as possible so that the artist can get an idea of your motif in advance.
How does a tattoo appointment work with you?
At the beginning of the appointment, the artist discusses with you the sketch that he has designed for you. If small changes are necessary, these are implemented directly on site. Together you determine the exact size and placement of your tattoo. Then the template is placed on your skin in front of the mirror, so that you get as realistic an idea as possible of how the final result will look. Only when you are completely satisfied, the motif is stung.
Are there places that are not tattooed by you in principle?
We do not exclude any part of the body. Particularly visible areas such as the neck, face and hands, however, we sting only conditionally and require a good consultation in advance – and the certainty on your part that you are 100% sure.
Can you tattoo over scars?
Yes! As a rule, you can tattoo over most scars. Did you know that scars can also be incorporated into a tattoo as a cool feature? Either way, the prerequisite is that they have healed well and are no longer red. Usually this is the case after at least a year. In general, it makes sense to send us a photo of the scar with your request via the online form, or to visit us in the studio.
Do you also do hand poke tattoos?
We also offer the hand poke technique. This is particularly suitable for small motifs or finger tattoos.
Do Fineline tattoos last forever?
It is very important to us that we put motifs under your skin that are for eternity. We work with fine lines, but always with line thicknesses that promise longevity. We also advise you on the size so that you get a motif for eternity. If you are unsure – just ask.
Is the ink you tattoo with vegan?
Yes! We work exclusively with vegan tattoo ink.
How long does a tattoo session last?
The duration of a session depends just like the price of a tattoo on several factors and can only be estimated in advance. For more specific information, please send us a detailed request via our online form and we will get back to you.
Can I get a tattoo if I have neurodermatitis / psoriasis?
Basically, neither neurodermatitis nor psoriasis are an exclusion criterion for a tattoo. However, your motif can not be brought under the skin in an acute outbreak. Feel free to contact us!
What is a "blowout"?
A blowout means that the tattoo color “runs out” under the skin and the accurately stitched line blurs afterwards. Unfortunately, this incident cannot be ruled out in advance, as the nature of our connective tissue is the only decisive factor here and can differ significantly depending on gender and body part.
Can complications occur during or after tattooing?
Circulatory problems may occur during the pricking process. It is best to take a sweet snack and something to drink with you to strengthen you in between. A fresh tattoo is always an open wound, so after tattooing in rare cases there may be local inflammation or other problems with wound healing. The better you follow the care instructions, the better you protect yourself from this.
How do I care for my tattoo?
If you do not have a plaster allergy, you will receive a transparent, self-adhesive plaster from us directly after the pricking, which will remain on your skin for up to three days. This patch guarantees optimal protection during the first and most important days of healing. You can remove the patch on the third day, preferably under warm running water. After that, you start to apply a panthenol cream to your tattoo 3-6 times a day for 10 days, until the aftercare process is completed after 14 days. It is especially important to take care during this time to touch your tattoo only with clean fingers and not to scratch if it itches! After your appointment, you will also receive detailed care instructions from us. So do not worry – we provide you with all the important information.
Can I do sports after I get tattooed?
You should avoid sports for two weeks after tattooing.
Can I go on vacation after I have been tattooed?
It is not advisable to get a tattoo right before an upcoming vacation. You should not go into the water with the fresh wound, nor in the sun and the place also otherwise not stressed, such as by sports. You would not be able to enjoy your vacation properly. Arrange your tattoo appointment so rather for another time.
Can I go swimming after I get a tattoo?
You should avoid swimming completely until the regeneration of your skin is complete. As a rule, this takes 3-6 weeks. The better you take care of your fresh tattoo, the faster it will heal.
Cover up
I don’t like my old tattoo anymore. What can I do?
You want a change of your existing motif? Whether removal or cover up, we will help you with both and advise you which solution is best for you. Often an old tattoo does not have to be removed completely. In many cases it is sufficient to remove or lighten only parts of the old tattoo, in order to increase the scope for new motifs enormously.
Is tattoo removal useful as cover up preparation?
A tattoo removal is useful in most cases as a basis for a Cover Up Tattoo. Often, an old tattoo does not have to be completely removed. In many cases, it is sufficient to remove or lighten only parts of the old tattoo, thereby increasing the scope for new motifs enormously.
Is it more expensive if I have my old design partially removed (lasered) before the cover-up?
Not necessarily. Often cover up designs have to be very large and dark so that the old design is no longer visible. Also, it is often more difficult to adapt the new design so that it perfectly overlays the old one. Both of these factors result in more work and time, which has a corresponding effect on the price. If your old tattoo was lasered in advance lighter or even removed, your new motif can be smaller, finer and much freer in the form and thus the tattoo in the end even turn out cheaper than the actual cover up, although here the cost of the laser treatment can possibly equalize the price again.
How can I make an appointment with you?
To schedule a cover-up, please contact us using our online form. The more information you give us, the better. In any case, please attach a photo of your existing tattoo, which should be covered up with a cover-up.
